God's Plan

I read this excerpt from a book I have..."Your best life-begins each morning" by Joel Osteen....I teared up because I totally feel like this is so true!

Here is what it said....
          This morning, you may be frustrated because you feel God's plan isn't working in your life. But never fear; God is arranging all the pieces to come together to work out His plan for your life. Though you may not feel it or see it, He has been working in your favor long before you encountered the problem.
          Don't grow impatient and try to force doors to open. Don't try to make things happen in your own strength. Your situation may look just as it did for the past ten years, but then one day, in a split second of time, God will bring it all together. When it is God's timing, all the forces of darkness cant stop Him. When it's your due season, God will bring it to pass.


        I am constantly feeling like nothing is changing and wonder what God's plan is for me. But I am being patient for God's plan. I know good things will come my way and when they do , I know they will be great because it will be what God wants. I try to keep positive. Even when bad luck is being thrown at me and i feel like nothing is going right , I think to myself...God still gives me what i need. I have a job... a roof over my head...clothes on my body...a wonderful loving family and friends....I have everything I NEED. He gives me new strength everyday to stay positive and I know he leads me to paths that are right. He is laying out that obstacle course . So I know its not going to be easy. I know those obstacles are building strength throughout the way until i get to that finish line where it all comes together.

      A friend messaged me the sweetest thing today knowing i was down and emotional  . It said.....

"You are a strong, beautiful woman with the ability to bend the earth to your whim. Dont forget the sun always rises just for you. Every day is a new day. Let the pain subside and let your faith give you strength and courage to conquer anything you set your mind to. I believe in you."

    God puts certain people in your life . Sometimes you may not know why and sometimes you may think you do and sometimes you just know. But either way there is a reason. Only God knows that real reason. And he is doing it only for the good of you.

"We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. They are the people he called , because that was his plan." ~Romans 8:28

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."   ~Jeremiah 29:11

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." ~Ephesians 2:10

CRUSHED SPIRITS

I cannot be alone

My mind and body aches

I feel distant from everything known

Oh how my heart breaks

Im afraid to be on my own

I've done too many mistakes

There is too much pain

It all feels like a dream

I feel there's nothing i'll gain

All this hurt is too extreme

I think i might go insane

In my head...a silent scream

I am not alone

God hears my cry

Jesus arises from his throne

He wipes my tears dry

So much love he has shown

His forever devotion will always get me by

           "The Lord hears good people when they cry out to Him, and He saves them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and He saves those whose spirits have been crushed." ~Psalm 34:17-18

           "God is the Father who is full of mercy and all comfort. He comforts us everytime we have trouble, so when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us. We share in the many sufferings in Christ. In the same way, much comfort comes to us through Christ."      ~2Corinthians 1:3-5

My opinion on why God allows suffering

    People always wonder ....why does God allow suffering in the world? Why doesnt he stop it?
In my opinion....
    The goodness of God includes the creation of FREE WILL, people who can do wrong as well as good.
The highest GOOD is LOVE, which is impossible without freedom, whether we freely love God or our fellow human beings.
     The greater the possibility of love, then the greater possibility of evil! We have the potential to love people a little or a lot. Just like we have the potential to hurt people a little or a lot.
     Yes, there are Hitlers or Stalins who had the potential to oppress or slay millions but there are also Martin Luther Kings and Mother Theresas who had the potential to liberate and love millions!
     LOVE is really the only reason worth creating! It's not freedom for the sake of freedom that God values----it's LOVE!
     We suffer because of love. Love hurts, but yet we continue to love.
     If God were to take away our freedom, then we would be a race of robots! And if He were to step in and destroy evil, then that will be the end of the human race. Because everyone sins!
    Sometimes i feel that suffering brings us closer to God. It builds character and strength. When we go through certain struggles it helps us to learn and grow from them so that we can help others that go through the same struggles.
     God loves us and he is being patient with us. He doesnt want us to die without having a relationship with him. He wants us to repent. He will one day end all evil and suffering.

  "We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated.
    We do not know what to do, but we do not give up the hope of living.
    We are persecuted, but God does not leave us.
    We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed....So we do not give up.
    Our physical body is getting older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new everyday.
    We have small troubles for a while now, but they are helping us gain an eternal glory that is much
    greater than the troubles.
    We set our eyes not on what we can see but on what we cannot see...." ~2corinthians 4:8-9, 16-18
